my story

I'm Víctor Sakshin, a singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist from the volcanic Canary Islands. Rooted in Dhrupad, the classical vocal tradition of North India, and in the forest songs of Brazil and Spain, I create entrancing, circular soundscapes that invite people to cross an inner threshold into deeper contemplation and collective singing.

Weaving ancestral vocal traditions, mantras and songs of the earth into entrancing, circular soundscapes, my concerts invite audiences into a space of deep listening, collective resonance and contemplative immersion.

Ancient meets contemporary sound. East meets West, the raw and the wild meet intricate arrangements and sonic experimentation.

BOOK my live concert

  • "Víctor is a versatile multi-instrumentalist who draws from multiple lineages of musical study, and —most importantly— he knows how to be a good conduit and a good instrument so that ancient and mysterious forces can pour through when he plays."

    —Josh Shcrei (The Emerald Podcast)

  • "When you aren’t afraid to venture into the depths of who you are and desire something you can truly feel, Victor’s music will carry you through those valleys. You will be transported. You will feel held. He has a frequency of truth and divine love the world so desperately needs. Love and devotion in its purest form."

—Dusah Wiseman (Author of “Dear Cycle Breaker”)

  • "Listening to Víctor Sakshin is like travelling. The first time I heard him, his voice and the mantras carried me to deep, hidden places, like a cave far beneath the earth, where there is only emptiness and silence. From there, listening becomes something pure and direct, unfiltered."

—Laura Romero (Therapist and Yoga Teacher)

  • “Víctor Sakshin’s music is captivating, contemplative and moving. It makes the soul dance. Poetry and art flowing from the heart, from the deepest and most sublime part of our being.”

—Renato Motha & Patrícia Lobato (Musicians and Yoga Teachers)

  • "The sound of Víctor Sakshin invites a purging, a metamorphosis of the soul. It is an encounter with your true vibration and the universal pulse: seductive, transformative, enveloping and meditative."

—Alejandra Estrada (Yoga Teacher and Dancer)
